HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR directs it to be notified, that he will hold an undress Levee, at the Town Hall, at Lyttelton, on Wednesday, the 9th instant, at 11 o’clock in the morning.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR is pleased to proclaim a Public Holiday in the Province of Canterbury, on Wednesday next, the 9th instant, in celebration of the glorious news of the fall of Sebastopol, and of its occupation by the Allied Armies.
