CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION’S RESERVES.
PUBLIC NOTICE.

Christchurch, 19th August, 1856.
NOTICE is Hereby Given—that the Provincial Government, having received a tender of £500 for the undermentioned property, the same will be put up for sale by Public Auction, at the Police Office, Lyttelton, on Friday, the 5th day of September, 1856, at 12 o’clock, at noon, precisely, subject to the conditions to be produced at the time of sale, in addition to the terms already notified.
DESCRIPTION:
A piece of Land, (being part of Reserve, No. 33, on the Canterbury Association’s Map of the Town of Lyttelton), together with the Dwellinghouse and Boathouse thereon, bounded on the North by a continuation of Norwich Quay, on the East by St. David’s Street, on the West by land in the occupation of Messrs. Cookson, Bowler and Co., and on the South by the Sea.
A plan of the property with the measurements and boundaries may be seen at the Police Office, Lyttelton, and at the Office of the Provincial Secretary, Christchurch.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the undermentioned Section of Rural land, containing less than 20 acres having been applied for, the same will be sold by Public Auction, by direction of His Honor the Superintendent, in accordance with the Waste Lands’ Regulations, at the Board Room of the Land Office, Christchurch, on Tuesday the twenty-third day of September, 1856, at 12 o’clock, at noon, precisely.
