KARANGAHAPE HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
The Assessment List for the Karangahape Highway District for current year has been finally settled. The Rate-book can be inspected at the Board’s office, York-street, Newton, where the Rate is payable to Mr. Thomas Hayes, Collector.

Boundary of last-named lot, thence by the western and northern boundaries of lot 3, all of said section 10, and thence by the road which forms the eastern boundary of lot 1 of said section to lot 103 first-named, the place of commencement.
Meeting to elect a Committee will be held at the Baptist Schoolroom, Mount Eden Road, on Tuesday, the 14th day of November, 1876, at 7.30 p.m.
UPPER MAHURANGI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
The Assessment List for the current year of the above District has been finally settled. The Collector, Mr. John Joseph Reynolds, will attend at the Public Hall, Warkworth, on Monday, the 6th day of November, from 10 a.m. till 12 at noon, for the purpose of receiving rates. The Rate Book has been deposited at the Co-operative Store, Warkworth, for the inspection of Ratepayers.

REMUERA HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
The Assessment List of the above district for the year 1876-77 has been finally settled. The Rate-book may be inspected and payment of rates made at the office of the Collector, Mr. William Dinnison, Newmarket, to whom all rates are to be paid.

It is hereby notified that the Board of Education under “The Education Act, 1872,” having constituted the District hereinafter described to be an Educational District under the said Act, have appointed the time and place of meeting for the election of a District School Committee for the said Educational District as hereunder set forth.

Mount Eden Educational District.
Bounded towards the North by the road leading from lot 103 of section 6 of the suburbs of Auckland to lot 29 of said section; towards the East by the western boundary of the Mount Hobson Educational District from last named lot to the western angle of lot 63 of section 10 of the suburbs aforesaid; towards the South by the southern boundaries of lots 71, 100, 107, and 131 of said section 10; and towards the West by the western boundaries of lots 131, 132, 133, 134, 135, 136, thence by the northern boundary of last-named lot, thence by the western boundaries of lots 8 and 9, thence by the northern boundary.

Subscriptions.
The subscription is at the rate of £2 per annum, or 10s. 6d. per quarter, payable in advance.
Advertisements must be forwarded to the Superintendent’s Office, at Auckland, or to the authorised Agent, at Grahamstown, or at Coromandel, with prepayment of the charge for insertion at the rates above specified.
Advertisements should be written on one side on the paper; and names, signatures, &c., must be written in a legible hand, to save mistakes.
The number of insertions required should be written across the face of the advertisement.
The Government will not guarantee the publication of any notice or advertisement within a given date, nor will the same be inserted unless pre-paid.
Subscriptions are required to terminate with the quarters ending March, June, September, or December; a less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
