NORTH SHORE HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Assessment List (1876-7) for the above district has been finally settled, and that the Rate Book lies for inspection at the Post Office, Stokes’ Point, where the rates must be paid to Mr. Denby, Secretary, or to Mr. T. W. Seaman, Collector.

MANGAREI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

THE Assessment List of the above district has been finally settled, and the Rate Book is now open to the inspection of ratepayers at the School-house, Mangarei. The rates are payable to Mr. John F. MacKinlay, who has been appointed Collector for the current year.

THE Assessment List of the above-named district for the current year has been finally settled. Rates are to be paid to Mr. William Harrison, who is appointed Collector, at the Post Office, Mangapai, where the Rate Book is open to the inspection of Ratepayers.

THE Assessment List has been finally settled. The Rate Book may be seen at the Commercial Hall, where the Collector, S. Hedge, junr., will attend to receive the rates on the first Saturday in October, November, and December, between three and five o’clock p.m.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.

The subscription is at the rate of £2 per annum, or 10s. 6d. per quarter, payable in advance.

Advertisements must be forwarded to the Superintendent’s Office, at Auckland, or to the authorised Agent, at Grahamstown, or at Coromandel, with prepayment of the charge for insertion at the rates above specified.

Advertisements should be written on one side on the paper; and names, signatures, &c., must be written in a legible hand, to save mistakes.

The number of insertions required should be written across the face of the advertisement.

The Government will not guarantee the publication of any notice or advertisement within a given date, nor will the same be inserted unless pre-paid.

Subscriptions are required to terminate with the quarters ending, March, June, September, or December; a less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
