NATIVE LANDS COURT.

Notice under the “Native Land Acts, 1873—’74” of Times and Places for Investigating Claims

NOTICE is hereby given, that the claim, on behalf of themselves and others, of the persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the block of land, of which the name and locality is mentioned in the second column; the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Ohaeawai, Bay of Islands, on the 16th of October next, and following days.

Auckland, September 16th, 1876.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant. Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries. Place where plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Eru Nehu, and Pokaia Te Reretiti, near Whangarei Commences at the mouth of the Putanui river, and goes along in that river to the Government boundary, turns there, and goes along on it to the peg at the mouth of the Wairoa stream, then falls into the Mangakino river, and goes along in it to the commencing point. The map of this land, it has been surveyed, may be seen at the Court-house of the Resident Magistrate, at Russell.
