NATIVE LANDS COURT.

Notice under the "Native Land Acts, 1873-74," of Times and Places for Investigating Claims.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Whangarei, on the 14th of September next, and following days.

SCHEDULE

Name of Claimant. Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries. Place where Plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Henare Te Moananui, and Paratene Te Manu Whakahewa, Whangarei The boundaries are: β€” Pakaroa; Te Ahu, and Paharakeke. Auckland
Haki Whangawhanga, Haumana, and Te Rewini Te Tihihti, near Whangarei
Hirini Tamihana, Henare Te Moananui, Te Rau Arama Karaka, Erana Te Iwi-paeaoa, and Raniera Te Mauri Kokoihangaroa, near Whananaki Commences at Te Kotingaotekakiopaira, and goes on along the Paketu ridge, then falls to Waikeri, and goes on to the Whananaki River, Ngariritehuia, Purnpuru, Whangarewarewa, Pakaraka, the mouth of the Whananaki River, then turns towards the east, and goes on to Manawaroro and thence to the commencement point.
Komene Matiu Te Aranui Huikiekie, near Mangakahia Commences at Te Rewa, and goes on to Oue, Huikiekie, Mangatipa, Kauhoea, Te Tuakaka, Parakao, the mouth of the Oue river, Te Kape, Te Kohu, Porohuriwai, Hurihanga and Parahaki, and thence to the commencement.
Te Hemara Karawai Kaherutahi, near Whangarei Commences at Puhangia, and goes on to Taharua, Matawhero, Otamakahi, Te Whatupo, Te Karuotapa, Mapauriki, Rukutangatara, Te Raupaenoa, Te Pokere, Pito-rehu, Kaiwaka, Te Rurumaki, Kauaeranga, Te Kowhai, and Waikauere, and thence to the commencement.
Komene Matiu Te Aranui Mataiteuru, near Mangakahia Bounded towards the north by the Mangakahia river, and on all other sides by the boundaries of Oue. There are three pieces adjoining in this block lying in the bends of the river.
Mitai Pene Taui One No. 2, near Mangakahia Bounded towards the north, by the Mangakahia river; towards the east by the Oue block; towards the south, by Pekapekarau; and towards the west, by Waerekahakaha.
