IN accordance with the 14th section of “The Education Act, 1872,” it is hereby notified that the boundaries of the following districts as described in the Gazettes No. 26, 1876, No. 47, 1875, and No. 26, 1876, have been amended by the Board of Education as follows.

TE AWAMUTU EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the north by part of the southern boundary of the Parish of Ngaroto, from the north-western angle of lot 54A of the Parish of Mangapiko to the north-eastern angle of lot 217 of the Parish of Puniu, thence by the northern boundaries of lots 286 and 292 of last-named Parish; towards the east by the eastern boundaries of last-named lot and lot 294 of Puniu Parish aforesaid; thence by the road which forms the south-western boundaries of lots 294 and 298, thence by the road which forms the western boundaries of lots 318, 319, 322, 323, and 324 of the Parish last-named, thence by the road from last-named lot to the north-eastern angle of lot 266 of the Parish of Puniu aforesaid, thence by the road which forms the eastern boundary of last-named lot and the eastern boundaries of lots 265, 267, and 274 of the Parish of Puniu, thence by said road continued to lot 125, thence by the road forming the eastern boundaries of lots 125, 124, 123, and 122 of the said Parish of Puniu, thence by the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of lots 122, 126, 134, 137, 138, 142, 146, 147, 148, 149, 150, and 151 of said Parish of Puniu to the Puniu river; towards the south by the Puniu river aforesaid from the south-eastern angle of last-named lot to a line being a production of the eastern boundary of lot 184 of the Parish of Mangapiko; and towards the west by the road forming the western boundaries of lots 184, 181, 187, 188, 189, 191, 193, 193A, 195, 266, 265, 313, 14, 10, and 8, all of the Parish of Mangapiko aforesaid.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the north-east by the Waikato river from the north-western angle of lot 136 of the Parish of Te Rapa to the north-western angle of lot 353 of the same Parish; towards the east by the road forming the western and southern boundaries of said lot 353, the southern boundary of lot 354, part of the southern boundary of lot 355, the western boundaries of lots 334, 333A, 332A, 332, 338, the northern boundaries of lots 194, 193, 192, the western boundaries of lots 192, 198, 200, and 209, all of the Parish of Te Rapa aforesaid; thence by the road forming the northern boundaries of lots 183 and 182 of the Parish of Ngaroto, and thence by the road leading from the north-eastern angle of last-named lot to the south-eastern angle of lot 218 of said Parish of Ngaroto; towards the south by part of the southern boundary of the said Parish of Ngaroto, from last-named lot to Lake Ngaroto; towards the west by the western boundaries of lots 290, 296, 297, 298, 299, 300, 351, 350, 349, 348, 347, 346, 345, 344, 343, 342, 341, 340, 339, 338, 337, 336, 335, 334, and 352, of the said Parish.
