PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour SIR GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by “The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866,” I do hereby revoke the limits of the THAMES Slaughterhouse District constituted by proclamation dated the 16th day of August, 1875, and published in the Provincial Government Gazette dated the 19th day of August, 1875, and I do hereby constitute and define the limits of the said THAMES Slaughterhouse District under the said Act to be those described in the schedule hereunder.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 12th day of August, 1876.

SCHEDULE.

All that district which is bounded toward the South by a right line from the North Head of Kati Kati River to the summit of Hikurangi; thence by a right line to the summit of Te Aroha Mountain, and thence by a right line due west to the Thames River; towards the West by the Waikato Electoral District, the Frith of the Thames, and the Hauraki Gulf; towards the North by the southern boundary of the Coromandel Electoral District; and towards the East by the sea.


PROCLAMATION.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by “The Slaughterhouse Act, 1866,” I do hereby revoke the limits of the COROMANDEL Slaughterhouse District, constituted by proclamation dated the 24th day of August, 1875, and published in the Provincial Government Gazette dated the 1st September, 1875, and I do hereby constitute and define the limits of the said COROMANDEL Slaughterhouse District under the said Act, to be those described in the Schedule hereunder.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 12th day of August, 1876.

SCHEDULE.

All that block of land commencing at the source of Paul’s Creek on the main range: Bounded towards the north-east by the summit of the main range from the source of Paul’s Creek aforesaid, to a point on the same, being the intersection by a right line running parallel to and at a distance of three chains from the northern side of the road leading from Coromandel to Whangapoua; towards the south-east by the right line aforesaid, and by the same continued south-westerly parallel to and at the distance of three chains as above-mentioned, from the northern side of the road leading from Coromandel to Whangapoua aforesaid to high water mark of Coromandel harbour; towards the south-west by high water mark of Coromandel harbour aforesaid to the mouth of the Koputauaki Creek; and towards the north west by the Koputauaki and Paul’s Creeks aforesaid to the source of the latter creek on the main range first-mentioned the place of commencement.
