IT is hereby notified that the Chairman of the Tauranga North Township District Board, under "The Highways Act, 1874," has reported in writing to the Superintendent the name of Mr. James Weir Gray as having been duly elected a Member of that Board in the place of Mr. Firth Wrigley, resigned.

"Appointing additional Gazettes under "The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1875."
"NORMANBY, Governor.
"Whereas by the fifth section of "The Debtors and Creditors Act, 1875," it is, amongst other things, enacted that the term 'Gazette' in the said Act shall mean any newspaper or newspapers to be from time to time appointed by the Governor for each district: And whereas by a Proclamation dated the twenty-second day of December, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, the districts named in the Schedule hereto were, amongst others, constituted districts under the said Act: And whereas by a notice also dated the twenty-second day of December, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five, certain newspapers were appointed Gazettes for such districts respectively; and whereas it is expedient to appoint other newspapers Gazettes in addition to those appointed as aforesaid: Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me, do hereby appoint that, for the districts named in the Schedule hereto, the newspapers the names whereof are in the said Schedule set opposite to the names of such districts shall be the Gazettes for such districts respectively under the said Act, in addition to the newspapers appointed by the said notice of the twenty-second day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

The name of the undermentioned person appointed Collector of Rates for the Highway District set opposite his name, has been reported to this office.
