PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
IN pursuance of section 7 of “The Highways Act, 1874,” I do hereby alter and amend the name of the MAKETU Highway District under the said Act, and do appoint that the same shall hereafter be and be called the OFAHEKE Highway District.
Given under my hand, at Auckland, this 11th day of May, 1876.

THE undermentioned Allotment of Land, being an Hospital Endowment, will, on Wednesday, the 14th day of June next, at 12 o’clock noon, at Messrs. B. Tonks & Co.’s Auction Mart, Queen Street, Auckland, be offered for Lease by public auction, for a term of Twenty-one years.
