PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour Sir George Grey,
Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

By virtue of the powers in me vested under “The Protection of Animals Act, 1873,” I hereby proclaim and declare that all the Native Game mentioned in the 5th schedule of the said Act, except Native Pigeon and Curlew, may be hunted, shot, taken, or killed within the Province of Auckland, during the months of April, May, June and July, of the present year: And I do hereby further proclaim and declare that Native Pigeons may be so hunted, shot, taken, or killed, during the months of May, June, and July only of the present year.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, at Auckland, this 27th day of March, 1876.

HAURAKI GOLD MINING DISTRICT.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 22nd March, 1876.

It is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Leases hereunder named, and the Lessees’ estate therein respectively determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under sections 109, 110, 111, and 112 of “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1873.”

The Christchurch Gold Mining Company, Registered (assigned to Windsor Castle Gold Mining Company, Limited); bounded northerly by ground supposed unoccupied, and “Sons of Freedom,” easterly by “Watchman,” southerly by “Windsor Castle,” and westerly by ground supposed unoccupied. Lease dated 4th September, 1871; No. 307.

The Berkeley Castle Gold Mining Company, Registered (assigned to Windsor Castle Gold Mining Company, Limited); bounded northerly by “Christchurch” and “Watchman,” easterly by “Coliban” and ground supposed unoccupied, southerly by ground supposed to be unoccupied and “White Rose,” and westerly by ground supposed unoccupied, and “Christchurch.” Lease dated 19th May, 1870; No. 48.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Under and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by “The Impounding Act, 1867,” I do hereby appoint those premises, situated within the boundaries of the Rangiaohia Highway District, and being the yards formerly used by Mr. J. P. Neill as Public Sale Yards, situate at Te Awamutu, to be, and be used, as a Public Pound for the purposes of the said recited Act.

Given under my hand, at Auckland, this 23rd day of March, 1876.
