Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 16th February, 1875.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT, JOHN WILLIAMSON, ESQUIRE,
departed this life, at his residence, Great North Road, at half-past two o’clock this
morning.

The Funeral will take place at half-past 4 o’clock on the afternoon of SATURDAY
next ; and the Public of Auckland are invited to attend.

Speaker of the Auckland Provincial Council.

In consequence of this lamented event no business will be transacted this day at
the Provincial Government Offices; and the Offices will be Closed until the remains of
His Honor shall have been interred.
