PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 10th February, 1875.

THE names of the undermentioned persons appointed Collectors of Rates for the Highway Districts set opposite their respective names, have been reported to this office:—

  • Waiotahi: Robert Skeene, vice William John McKee.
  • Kaio: Richard Edward Gibbs.
  • Town of Ngardawahia: John Turner Giffney.

TAKE NOTICE.

WHEREAS malicious, or carelessly disposed, persons have been unlawfully lighting fires, digging for gum, cutting timber, and otherwise injuriously trespassing upon Waste Lands of the Crown; and whereas it has been determined to punish such unlawful acts: It is therefore hereby notified that all persons who shall without lawful authority dig or take gum on or from any lands of the Crown, or who shall cut or remove any timber or other trees or wood whatsoever on or from the said lands, or light fires thereon, or in any other manner injure, interfere with, or trespass upon the same, will be prosecuted with the utmost rigour of the law.

THE Auckland Improvement Commissioners give notice that they will cause to be sold by public auction the Lease of certain Allotments of Land fronting Wellesley-street East and Symonds-street, on the 3rd day of March, 1875.

TOWN OF RAGLAN HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

NOTICE is hereby given that Mr. William Bulford has been appointed Collector of Fees, etc., under the Dog Nuisance Act, 1854, for this district, and that his residence in Raglan Township is the place where Fees are payable and Dog Tickets issued.
