NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE UNDER THE NATIVE LANDS ACT, 1873, OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Whangarei, on the 22nd of February next, and following days.

NAME OF CLAIMANT. NAME AND LOCALITY OF BLOCK. BOUNDARIES. PLACE WHERE PLAN WILL BE DEPOSITED FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION.
Hirini Pakihikihi, Taurau, and Taurau Kukupa Te Ahiarara, near Maungatapere, Whangarei Commences at the Otaika river, Whangarei, at a place called Ruapuke, and goes up to Nga Ngutukai and Momote, turns here and goes on to Matuaukui, turns here and goes on to the Otaika river, and goes along in that river to Ruapuke The maps of such of these lands as have been surveyed can be seen at the Court-house of the Resident Magistrate, Whangarei.
Te Tiraau, and Tipene Hari Pakikaikutu, near Tamatarau, Whangarei Bounded on the west by the Whangarei Harbour; on the south by Taiwhaiwhati; on the north by Te Kopuru, going on to the boundary of land belonging to Pakehas, thence to Onikau, goes down into the Ruabine river, and on to the boundary of the Government land at Tamatau, thence to the Whangarei Harbour. Contains 413 acres.
Hotereni Wi Poti, and Timoti Te Waoku, near Mangakapea Bounded on the north by Takatepiro; on the east by Taumata Mianga; on the south by Toronui; and on the east by Puihanga
Taurau Kukupa Pipiaihe, kei Whangarei
Maihi Kawiti, Hare Paraha, and Reihana Te Puka Wairua, near Whangarei Commences at Mangemangenui, on the boundary of Hukerenui, and goes on to Paiaka, Takangapoto, Tangiatehoe, Waipuakakaho, Waiotu falls into the Wairua river and the Karika river, then goes along the Motuuta swamp to Karewarewa, thence on to the commencement.
