PROCLAMATION.

By JOHN WILLIAMSON, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

In pursuance of the powers vested in me by Section 12 of "The Sheep Act, 1863, Amendment Act, 1874," I do hereby fix Monday, the fifteenth day of February, 1875, as the day on and after which the said Act shall come into force.

Given under my hand and the Seal of the said Province, at Auckland, this twenty-seventh day of January, 1875.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 8th February, 1875.

Application having been made by the District Boards of the Highway Districts hereunder mentioned for the appointment of the persons named by them to be the Engineers for those Districts respectively, I do hereby, under the authority given to the Superintendent in the seventy-fifth section of "The Highways Act, 1874," appoint the following persons to be severally the Engineers of those Districts:—

Karangahape:—P. J. Dalton,
Maketu:—Theophilus Pratt,
Mangarei:—Mr. Cook,
Maungatapere:—William Crawford,
Maungakawa:—Theophilus Pratt,
Mount Albert:—James Baber,
Mount Roskill:—James Baber,
Ponsonby:—P. J. Dalton,
Remuera:—John Goodall,
Tauranga North Township:—R. C. Jordan,
Town of Katikati:—Edward Frissell,
Waiuku:—C. E. Purslow,
Whangarei:—Edward Frissell.

Hereby notify that the Chairman of the after-named District Board under "The Highways Act, 1874," has reported in writing to me the names of the undermentioned persons, duly elected as Auditors of the said Highway District for the current highway year:—

Kaipara:—Alexander Hume and Robert Murray McTurk.
