IT is hereby notified that a Writ, issued on the 6th day of August, ultimo, for the Election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of Turanganui, has been returned to this office, with a certificate endorsed thereon by the Returning Officer to the effect that
STAPYLTON COTTON CAULTON,
has been duly elected.

IN pursuance of the sixth clause of “The Slaughter-house Act, 1866,” it is hereby notified that an application has been made to the Superintendent by
MR. THOMAS CORBETT,
of Tauranga, for a Private Slaughter-house License to his premises, erected on Section 80, Judea, near Tauranga.
Objections against the granting of such license must be lodged at this office within one calendar month from the date of publication hereof.
