NATIVE LAND ACT, 1873.

To the District Officer, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Inspector of Surveys, and Native Reserves Commissioner, and to all others whom it may concern;

Notice of Claim. Sec. 36.
Northern District.

NOTICE is hereby given that the persons named in the first column of the Schedule hereto, on behalf of themselves or the hapus mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule, have duly given notice that they claim to be interested in the pieces of land named and described in the third column of the said Schedule respectively; and that they desire that their respective claims should be investigated by the Native Land Court, in order that Memorials of Ownership may be issued for the same. And the said claimants admit the persons or hapus mentioned in the fourth column of the said Schedule to be also interested in the said land.

Commences at Te Pupuha, and goes on to Omataka, then falls into the Otaua River, turns upwards in that river, to Te Popo, Kaitoieke, and Karuheruhe, thence to Te Ngako, Te Ahiureure, Mangahouto, Otaetea, Mangakorari, Pakonga, Poihaere, Ngawehenga, and Papakauri, and then goes along in the Punaakitere River to the commencing point

Commences at Ohaereiti, and goes on to Mangahouto, then turns and goes on to Horotiu, and Pakonga, turns again, and goes on to Poihaere, Otirikaua, Whangatetonga, and Waikumete, turns again and goes onto the Punaakitere River, and goes along in that river to Te Umukai, turns there and goes on to the commencing point
Hone Mohi Tawhai Mahurehure, Ngapuhi Whakaoho No. 2
Commences at the northern boundary of Whakaoho No. 1, and goes along it towards the western side, then turns towards the north-west, turns again towards the north, and goes along in the Taheke River to the commencing point
