PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
In pursuance of the 15th Section of "The Highways Act, 1874," I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the
MATAMATA HIGHWAY DISTRICT,
and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at the dwelling-house of Mr. W. L. Williams, Matamata, on Thursday, the 8th day of July proximo, at three o'clock in the afternoon; and Mr. Josiah C. Firth to be Chairman of such Meeting.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this thirtieth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

It is hereby notified that His Honour the Superintendent has made the following appointments under "The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1873:"
John McKenzie, Esq., to be Mining Registrar and Chief Clerk to the Warden at Grahamstown.
Frederick James Burgess, Esq., to be Clerk of the Warden's Court and Clerk to the Warden and Registrar at Grahamstown.
Thomas Aubrey Bell, Esq., to be Clerk in the Warden's Department at Grahamstown.

Hereby notify that the Chairman of the Hunua District Board, under "The Highways Act, 1874," has reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of Messrs. Andrew McClymont and Reuben White as having been duly elected Auditors for the said Highway District for the current year.
