THE EDEN TERRACE HIGHWAY DISTRICT,

Commencing at the north-western angle of allotment No. 4 of section No. 5 of the suburbs of Auckland; bounded towards the north by the northern boundary of allotment No. 4 of section No. 5 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, the northern boundaries of allotments Nos. 3 and 1 of the same section, and the northern boundary of allotment No. 1 of section No. 7 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and by the northern boundary of said allotment No. 1 produced in an easterly direction to the centre of the road which forms its eastern boundary; towards the east by the centre of the road last described to its junction with the road which forms the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 of section No. 10 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and by the centre of said road to a point being the production in an easterly direction of the line which forms the south-eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 last named; towards the south-east by said line by the south-eastern boundary of allotment No. 2 of section No. 10 of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, and 2f, to the southern angle of the last-named lot; towards the south-west by the south-western boundary of last-named lot to the Mount Roskill Road, thence by the Mount Roskill Road aforesaid to its junction with the road known as the New North Road, thence by a right line crossing the New North Road aforesaid to the easternmost angle of allotment No. 10, of section No. 5, of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and by the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 10 aforesaid to its north-western angle, and towards the north-west by the north-western boundaries of allotments Nos. 9, 8, and 7, of section No. 5, of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, the abuttal of a road; and by the north-western boundary of allotment No. 4, of section No. 8, of the suburbs of Auckland to its north-western angle, the place of commencement.

WHEREAS, by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued in this action, and directed to me, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the above-named JOHN HAMILTON, I should cause to be made the sum of £207 9s. 6d., together with interest on the said sum at the rate of £8 per centum per annum from the 3rd day of March, 1875, together with £1 13s. 6d. for the said Writ, besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officer’s fees, &c.: Now I do hereby give notice that I shall cause to be Sold by Public Auction, by Richard Arthur, at his Auction Mart, Queen


PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By His Honour Sir GEORGE GREY, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the seventh section of “The Highways Act, 1874,” I do hereby notify that, from and after the date hereof, all that portion of the Province of Auckland hereunder described shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name of

104 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri aforesaid and crossing said road and continuing northerly along its eastern side to the northern boundary of allotment number 104 aforesaid, thence by the northern boundary of allotment number 104 aforesaid and the eastern boundary of allotment number 103 to the road which forms the northern boundary of the last-named lot, thence easterly along the south side of said road to a point opposite the south-eastern angle of allotment number 102 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri aforesaid, thence by a right line to the centre of said road and continuing south-easterly along its centre to a line being the production in a westerly direction of the north-western boundary of allotment number 114, thence by said line and by the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of allotment number 114 last named to the road which forms its south-eastern boundary, thence by the northern side of said road, the south-western, north-western, and north-eastern boundaries of allotment number 11 to the road at its south-eastern angle, thence following the northern side of said road to the southern boundary of allotment number 142 and by the south-eastern boundaries of allotments Nos. 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, 2e, and 2f, to the southern angle of the last-named lot towards the south-west by the south-western boundary of last-named lot to the Mount Roskill Road, thence by the Mount Roskill Road aforesaid to its junction with the road known as the New North Road, thence by a right line crossing the New North Road aforesaid to the easternmost angle of allotment No. 10, of section No. 5, of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, and by the north-eastern boundary of allotment No. 10 aforesaid to its north-western angle, and towards the north-west by the north-western boundaries of allotments Nos. 9, 8, and 7, of section No. 5, of the suburbs of Auckland aforesaid, the abuttal of a road; and by the north-western boundary of allotment No. 4, of section No. 8, of the suburbs of Auckland to its north-western angle, the place of commencement.
