PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS the Mount Roskill Highway District Board have transmitted to me an Order dated the 26th March, 1875, for the making of a road through lots 79 to 84, and Government Reserve, to the Mount Albert and Onehunga Roads, within the said District, together with true copies of the specifications, maps, &c., for the making of the said road, and together with one written Objection thereto, I do hereby, in pursuance of section 33 of “The Highway Boards Empowering Act, 1871,” give notice that on Thursday the eighth day of July, 1875, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, at my Office at Auckland, the said Order, and the Objection made thereto, will be taken into consideration.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by the seventh section of “The Highways Act, 1874,” I do hereby notify that, from and after the date hereof, all that portion of the Province of Auckland hereunder described, shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name of
THE MATAMATA HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
Commencing at a point where the eastern boundary of the Purewa block joins the Waihou river, bounded towards the north by a right line from the point last named to a point on the Waihou river, where the western boundary of the Turangaomoana block joins that river; towards the east by the Waihou river aforesaid to its confluence with the Mangawhero river, thence by that river to the line which forms the southern boundary of the Turangaomoana block aforesaid; towards the south-east by part of the southern boundary of the Turangaomoana block aforesaid to the Mangawhera river, which forms part of the eastern boundary of the Hinuera block No. 1, thence by the eastern boundary of the Hinuera block No. 1 aforesaid to the north-eastern angle of the Waipa block; towards the south by the southern boundary of the Hinuera block No. 1 aforesaid, and the southern boundary of the Hinuera block No. 3 to the south-western angle of the last-named block; and towards the west by the western boundary of the Hinuera block No. 3 aforesaid, the western boundary of the Puketutu block, and the southern, western, and northern boundaries of the Te Tapui block to the Mangapapa river, thence by the Mangapapa river aforesaid to its confluence with the Waihou river aforesaid, and by the Waihou river to the line which forms the eastern boundary of the Purewa block, first mentioned the place of commencement.
