PROCLAMATION.

By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Auckland, 22nd April, 1875.

Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in me by an Act of the local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled “An Act to Abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs” (Session I., No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the publication hereof the said Act shall come into operation within the District of Hamilton as constituted under “The Highways Act, 1874.”

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province of Auckland this 22nd day of April, 1875.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 22nd April, 1875.

It is hereby notified that a Writ, issued on the 3rd ultimo, for the Election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of Papakura, has been returned to this Office with a certificate endorsed thereon by the Returning Officer to the effect that

James Crawford, Junior,
of Wairoa, Freeholder, has been duly elected.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 22nd April, 1875.

It is hereby notified that in pursuance of Sections 9 and 10 of “The Auckland Harbour Board Act, 1871,” a meeting of the Electors duly qualified under Section 10 of the said Act shall be held in the Hall of the Mechanics’ Institute, at Auckland, on Monday, the 10th day of May proximo, at the hour of noon, for the purpose of electing a duly qualified person as a Member of the Auckland Harbour Board, in place of Benjamin Tonks, Esquire.

It is hereby notified that a Writ, issued on the 3rd ultimo, for the Election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of City of Auckland East has been returned to this Office, with a certificate endorsed thereon by the Returning Officer to the effect that

William Lee Rees,
of Devonport, Householder, has been duly elected.
