IN Gazette No. 18, dated 8th April, 1875, page 223, for “allotments Nos. 16, 17, 18, 3, 22, 23, and 24,” read “allotments Nos. 16, 17, 18, 3, 22, 23, 24, 4, and 5.”
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
By His Honour Sir George Grey, Knight Commander of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in me vested by section 26 of “The Highways Act, 1874,” I do hereby appoint the undermentioned persons to be Members of the District Boards set opposite their respective names to supply vacancies—
MANGAPAI:—James Sloane and Henry Cottis, vice Theophilus P. N. Hewlett and Peter Bulley, resigned.
WHAREORA:—T. Whitelaw, vice Sir Robert Douglas, Bart., resigned.

IT is hereby notified that a Writ, issued on the 19th ultimo, for the Election of a Member of the Provincial Council for the Electoral District of Thames, has been returned to this Office, with a certificate endorsed thereon by the Returning Officer to the effect that

of Grahamstown, Householder, has been duly elected.

MR. WILLIAM ANDERSON,
to be the Keeper of the Public Pound at Morningside within the said District, in the place of Mr. George Stevans, resigned.
