PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 22nd March, 1875.
It is hereby notified that the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed during the period commencing on Friday, the 26th instant, and ending on Tuesday following, the 30th instant, both days inclusive, for the Easter holidays.

PROCLAMATION.
By His Honour George Maurice O’Rorke,
Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
In pursuance of the fifth section of “The Auctioneers’ Licensing Act, 1863, Amendment Act, 1874,” I hereby notify that the District hereunder described, and known as the Bay of Islands District, shall from and after the date of publication hereof be and become subject to the provisions of the said Act.
Given under my hand, and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Auckland, this twenty-second day of March, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

BAY OF ISLANDS DISTRICT.
Bounded on the North by the sea (including adjacent islands) from the north-western angle of the Whiroa Block to Cape Brett; on the East by the sea from Cape Brett aforesaid to the south-eastern termination of the northern boundary of the County of Marsden; on the South by the northern boundary of the County of Marsden aforesaid; and on the west by the eastern boundary of the Waimate District to the intersection of the same by the Waionio River, thence by western boundaries of the Ruapekapeka and Kawakawa Block to the northern angle of the said Kawakawa Block, and thence by a straight line drawn to the commencing point at the sea on the north-western corner of Whiroa Block.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 16th March, 1875.
In compliance with a resolution passed by the Auckland Provincial Council during its last session, a Reward of One Hundred Pounds (£100) is hereby offered for the first discovery of a payable bed of Coal near the harbour of Raglan, suitable for steam purposes.
