for sale, or buy, any such rock oysters, he shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding twenty pounds for any one offence, to be recovered in a summary way before any one or more Justice or Justices of the Peace:
Now therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that during the consecutive months commencing on the first day of January in each year, and ending on the thirty-first day of March in each year, it shall not be lawful to take or catch for sale any rock oysters, whether between high and low watermarks or not, within the district comprised within the boundaries of the Province of Auckland, and which said boundaries are set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
Bounded on the North by the coast line, including the islands adjacent thereto; on the East by the coast line, including the islands adjacent thereto; on the West by the coast line, including the islands adjacent thereto; on the South by the River Mokau to its source, thence by a right line running from the source of the Mokau to the point where the Ngahuinga or Tuhua, the principal tributary of the Wanganui River, is intersected by the thirty-ninth parallel of south latitude; thence eastward by the thirty-ninth parallel of south latitude to the point where that parallel of latitude cuts the east coast of the Northern Island of New Zealand.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Most Honorable George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the County of York, in the Peerage of the United Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave of New Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the Peerage of Ireland; a Member of Her Majesty’s Most Honorable Privy Council; Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Administrator of the Government in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

IT is hereby notified that the Board of Education, under "The Education Act, 1872," have constituted the districts hereinafter described to be Educational Districts under the said Act, and have appointed the times and places of meeting for the Election of District School Committees for the said Educational Districts, as hereunder set forth.

TE KOPURU EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Comprising all those lands included within the following boundaries—viz., towards the north-west by the north-western boundary of the Kopuru Parish; towards the north-east by the Wairoa River; towards the south-east by the sea; and towards the south-west by the sea.
Meeting to elect Committee at the Hall, Kopuru, on Thursday, 28th January, at ¼ past 7 o’clock p.m.
RANGIAOHIA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the north by the road leading from the north-western angle of lot 56 of the Parish of Mangapiko to the south-western angle of lot 295 of the Parish of Puniu, thence by the eastern boundaries of lots 294 and 292 of said parish, towards the north-east by part of the north-eastern boundary of said parish, from the north-eastern angle of last-named lot to the confiscation boundary line, towards the south-east by the confiscation boundary line to the Maungahoe Creek aforesaid, and towards the west by the western boundaries of lots 67, 66, 65, 61, 59, 58, and 56 of the parish of Mangapiko to the north-western angle of last-named lot the place of commencement.
Meeting to elect School Committee will be held at the English Church, on Saturday, 30th January, 4 p.m.
PATERANGI EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the north by the centre of the road which forms the south-eastern boundaries of allotments 18, 19, 20, 20A, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26 of the Parish of Tuhikaramea, and by the centre of the road which forms the south-western boundaries of lots 45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52, 53, and 55 of the Parish last named; towards the east by the centre of the road which forms the eastern boundaries of lots 140, 142, 146A, and part of the eastern boundary of lot 147, all of the Parish of Tuhikaramea aforesaid, to the north-western angle of allotment 214; thence by the centre of the road forming the northern boundary of allotment 214, the eastern boundary of said lot, and the eastern boundaries of lots 213, 212, 211, and 210 to the northern boundary of allotment 314, all of the Parish of Tuhikaramea aforesaid; again towards the north by the northern boundary of lot 314 aforesaid, and by said northern boundary produced easterly in a straight line to the parish boundary of Te Rapa; again, towards the east by part of the western boundary of the Parish of Te Rapa aforesaid, to the north-western angle of lot 352 of the Parish of Ngaroto; thence by the line which forms the western boundary of lot 352 aforesaid, and the western boundary of lots 334, 335, 336, 337, 338, 339, 340, 341, 342, 343, 344, 345, 346, 347, 348, 349, 350 and 351 of the said parish to the north-eastern angle of lot 135 of the Parish aforesaid, thence by the centre of the road which forms the south-western boundary of lots 300, 299, and 298, and part of the south-western boundary of lot 297, continuing the south-western boundary of said lot 297 to the margin of Lake Ngaroto, thence traversing the north-eastern margin of said lake to the south-western angle of lot 54 of the Parish of Mangapiko; thence, by the southern boundary of said lot 54, and the southern boundaries of lots 53 and 52 to the south-eastern angle of lot 52
