IN accordance with the 14th section of “The Education Act, 1872,” it is hereby notified that the following Districts have been amalgamated, and will be hereafter known as the Thames Educational District, viz.:-

The Waiotahi District,
The Kauaeranga District,
The Tararu District,
as described in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 5, of 5th February, 1873, and
The Parawai District,
as described in Government Gazette, No. 6, of 8th February, 1873.

Also, that the meeting to elect a Committee for the said District will be held at the Thames School, at 4 p.m., on Friday, the 18th December, 1874.
