I HEREBY notify that the several Chairmen of the after-named District Boards, under “The Highways Act, 1874,” have reported, in writing, to the Superintendent, the names of the undermentioned persons duly appointed Officers and Members of those Boards, to supply vacancies :-

PIRONGIA :— J. R. Roche to be Member and Chairman, vice H. T. Sibley, resigned.

KAIO :— Rufus Kneller to be Member, vice John Shepherd, resigned.

IT is hereby notified for general information, that the undernamed persons have been appointed by the Superintendent to make and lodge complaints and informations under the provisions of “The Rural Police Act, 1866” :-

MR. JAMES WRIGLEY, Chairman for the time being of the REMUERA Highway District Board.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased, in conformity with the provisions of “The Adulteration of Food Act, 1866,” to approve the appointment by his Honor the Superintendent of Auckland of

JAMES MAZZINI TUNNY, Esq.,

to be a Local Analyst under the said Act, within the Province of Auckland.

UPPER MAHURANGI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

TO the owners or reputed owners, lessees or reputed lessees, and occupiers of allotments Numbers 60 and 61.

Take notice that the Maps, Specifications, and other papers relating to a road, which the Upper Mahurangi District Highway Board propose to take over the above-mentioned allotments are deposited for inspection at the Mahurangi Cooperative Company’s store, Warkworth, that the purpose of the said maps, specifications, and other papers, is to define the site, admeasurements, and mode of forming the said Road, and that all persons affected by the proposed road are hereby called upon to set forth in writing, addressed to the Upper Mahurangi Highway Board, within forty days from the publication hereof in the Gazette, all objections which they may have to the said road.
