PROCLAMATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

By virtue of the powers in me vested by "The City of Auckland Loan Empowering Act, 1874," I do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall come into force on and after Tuesday, the first day of September, 1874.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province of Auckland, and issued at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 10th day of August, 1874.

PROCLAMATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Under and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled, "An Act to abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs" (Session I, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of publication hereof, the said Act shall come into operation within the District of the Borough of the Thames, as defined in the proclamation of His Excellency the Governor, dated the 5th day of November, 1873, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 65, dated the 6th day of November, 1873.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province of Auckland, and issued at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 10th day of August, 1874.

PROCLAMATION.

By virtue of the powers in me vested by "The Hauraki District Fire Rate Act, 1872, Amendment Act, 1874," I do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall (excepting the last Clause thereof) come into force on and after Tuesday, the first day of September, 1874.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province of Auckland, and issued at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 10th day of August, 1874.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By John Williamson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

Whereas the Board of Education under "The Education Act, 1872," and "The Education Act, 1872 Amendment Act, 1874," has fixed a Household Rate of Twenty Shillings and a Rate of Ten Shillings for every male person of 21 years and upwards residing within the Province of Auckland who shall not be liable to pay the said Household Rate;
