Licenses to Kill Game have been issued to the undermentioned persons, in accordance with the provisions of "The Protection of Animals Act, 1873."

PROCLAMATION.
By the Central Board of Health for the Province of Auckland.
WHEREAS, under the twenty-fifth section of "The Public Health Act, 1872," it has been made to appear to the Central Board of Health, within the Province of Auckland, that the Local Board of the Newton Highway District, established within the said Province, has not caused the Second Part of the said Act to be efficiently enforced within its jurisdiction, and that from such neglect or omission the health and comfort of the inhabitants resident within such jurisdiction are liable to be affected;
Now, therefore, it is hereby ordered and declared in pursuance of the said recited section of the said Act, that all the powers and authorities vested in the said Newton Local Board, by the Second Part of the said Act, shall be henceforth, and for a period of six calendar months from the date of publication hereof, absolutely transferred in reference to the limits of the jurisdiction of the said Newton Local Board, to the said Central Board of Health.
Given under our hands and seals, at Auckland, this twenty-second day of June 1874.
