I HEREBY notify that, in exercise of the powers in me vested, under section 11 of "The Prisons Act, 1878," I have appointed Constable George S. Matheson, A.C., to be Gaoler of the Public Prison at Newcastle, in the place of Constable A. S. Hall, deceased.

I DO hereby notify that the Cambridge North Township District Board has, with my approval appointed Mr. James Patton Thomson to be keeper of the Public Pound at Cambridge, in the room of Mr. James P. Campbell. And I do hereby notify that the Fees and Charges set forth in the Schedule annexed to the notification published in the Provincial Government Gazette, No. 86, dated 11th June, 1869, page 456, may be taken and charged by the said Keeper.

Parnell.—George Manners Mifford, J.P., vice Mark Rawlings, resigned.
Pahawal.—Henry Vernon, vice William Henry Crick, resigned.
Lake.—Frederick James Somerfield, vice Edmund Woodgate Stratford, left the Province.
Rangitoto.—Walter Ellis, vice William Taylor Riggall, left the Province.
Wairau.—J. B. Mason, vice J. Gummer, resigned.
