PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By the Auckland Harbour Board, for the Port of Auckland.

In pursuance of the powers and authority vested in the Auckland Harbour Board, the following Crane Dues, for the use of the Cranes on the Queen Street Wharf, Auckland, shall be levied in the place of the Crane Dues now levied, and shall come into operation on and after the first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND.

NORTHERN DISTRICT.

Between Horatio Nelson Warner, Official Agent, Plaintiff, and William Mortimer Baines, Defendant.

WHEREAS, by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued in this action, and to me directed, ordering me that of the real and personal property of the above-named William Mortimer Baines I should cause to be made the sum of Forty-eight Pounds Nine Shillings and Twopence, together with interest on the said sum, at the rate of Eight Pounds per centum per annum, from the 23rd day of May, 1874, together with £1 18s. 4d. for the said Writ, besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officers’ fees, &c.: Now I do hereby give notice that I shall cause to be sold by public auction, by Richard Arthur, at his Auction Mart, Queen-street, Auckland, on the 3rd day of September, 1874, at the hour of 12 o’clock noon, unless the said debt of £48 9s. 2d. and interest be sooner paid, together with the said sum of £1 18s. 4d. for the said Writ, besides Sheriff’s poundage, Officers’ fees, &c.: All the Estate, Right, Title, and Interest of the said William Mortimer Baines, of, in, and to all that allotment or parcel of land, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement five acres, more or less, situate in the Parish of Waitemata, in the County of Eden, and being part of allotment No. 41, of Section 6, Suburbs of Auckland; bounded on the North by a line 385 links, on the East by other part of the said allotment No. 41, 1812 links, on the South by allotment No. 45, 100 links, and 144 links, and on the West by part of lot No. 40, 1675 links.

And I further give notice that the said William Mortimer Baines, consists of his fee simple estate in the said land, and that the same has been taken by me, in execution at the suit of the said Horatio Nelson Warner, the execution creditor.
