PROCLAMATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

In exercise of the powers delegated to me by His Excellency the Governor, under "The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871," I, Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby enlarge the boundaries of the Hauraki Gold Mining District, under the said recited Act so as to include the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

The block of land known as Oniahu No. 1; the block known as Whangamata No. 1; the block known as Whangamata No. 5; the block known as Whangamata No. 3; the block known as Hikutaia No. 3; and the block known as Hikutaia No. 2; as the same are shown on the Native Land Court Maps: Excepting out of the said lands a township Reserve at Hikutaia of 321 acres, and a township Reserve at Whangamata of 43 acres 3 roods and 28 perches as the said reserves are marked off on the ground.

Given under my hand and seal, at Auckland, at twelve o'clock, noon, this twentieth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
