PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES,
Superintendent
of the Province of Auckland,
do hereby notify
that the Waitekeri Stream, and the Waingarara Stream, with their respective tributaries, situate at the aforenamed District Boards, under "The Whangapoua, in the Cape Colville Peninsula, Province of Auckland aforesaid, may be used for the purposes of "The Timber Floating Act, 1873," mentioned persons duly appointed Officers and Members of those Boards respectively, to supply vaux under License, as in the said Act mentioned.
Given under my hand at Auckland, this eighth day of November, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

I HEREBY notify that the several Chairmen of the aforesaid District Boards, under "The Highway Act, 1871," have reported in writing to me the names of the undermentioned persons duly appointed Officers and Members of those Boards respectively, to supply vacancies—
Waikato:—William Carruth, to be Member,
vice W. Bedlington, resigned.
Pihainga:—John H. Thompson, to be Chairman,
vice Charles Allan Edenborough, resigned; John Morrison, and James McQuirk, to be Members, vice Alexander Grant, and Charles Allan Edenborough, resigned.

Mr. James H. Phillips, of Raglan,
for permission to use for mill driving purposes, the water flowing through allotment number 15 of the Parish of Karioi, together with the right to construct a Dam thereupon.
