PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 28th October, 1873.
IN pursuance of the 20th Section of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1870,” it is hereby notified for general information that application has been made to me by
MR. JAMES H. PHILLIPS, of Raglan,
for permission to use for mill driving purposes, the water flowing through allotment number 15 of the Parish of Karioi, together with the right to constructed a Dam thereupon.

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the provisions of “The Highways Act, 1871,” that certified copies of the Assessment Lists for the
PARAWAI,
MAKETU,
MANGAPIKO, and
MAUNGAKARAMA,
Highway Districts respectively, have been forwarded to this Office.

PROCLAMATION.
By the AUCKLAND HARBOUR BOARD for the Port of Auckland.
IN pursuance of the powers and authority vested in the Auckland Harbour Board, the limits and boundaries of the undermentioned Wharf for the purposes of “The Marine Act, 1867,” are hereby defined that is to say
VICTORIA WHARF, NORTH SHORE.
Bounded on the North by the Victoria road and by land between high and low water mark, and on the East, South, and West, by the Waters of the Waitemata Harbour.
Given at Auckland, under the Common Seal of the Auckland Harbour Board, the twenty-fifth day of October, One thousand eight hundred and seventy three.

IMPOUNDED on the 24th of October 1873 by Samuel Carriball, one yellow and white Steer, hole punched in each ear, no visible brand, owner unknown, for trespass on his farm Waiuku East, no damages claimed, and in default of being released the above Steer will be sold at the Public Pound at Waiuku on the 6th day of November 1873 at noon.
