PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,

Auckland, 22nd September, 1873.

I DO hereby notify, by virtue of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” that the General Country Land, hereinafter mentioned, will be open for selection and sale, at the Waste Lands Office, Auckland, on and after Tuesday, the 28th day of October, 1873.

Schedule.

Papakuri Block, Whangarei District, County of Marsden, 1,500 acres being North-Western portion of Block.

At an upset price of ten shillings per acre. Application for any of the land set forth above to be made in writing and deposited in the Waste Lands Office, Auckland, before the 28th October, 1873.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

I DO hereby notify that there shall be a District under the said Act, and that such District shall be known by the name of

The Parengarenga Highway District.

Bounded towards the North-East by the sea from Ngatoka rarani in the Parengarenga Harbour, to the Western head of the Rangaunu Harbour aforesaid and the North-Western boundary of the block of land known as “Maxwell’s claim,” towards the South-West by the West Coast from the North-Western boundary of “Maxwell’s claim” aforesaid to Te Karo and towards the North-West by a right line from Te Karo aforesaid to Ngatoka rarani the place first-named.

Given under my hand at Auckland, this nineteenth day of September, 1873.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By Joseph May, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers in the Superintendent vested by the fourth section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby notify and I do hereby appoint the First Meeting of Ratepayers to take place at Mr Yates’ General Store, Parengarenga, on Monday, the 13th day of October next.

IN pursuance of the fifth section of “The Highways Act, 1871,” I do hereby bring the said Act into operation within the

Parengarenga Highway District.
