AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

THE RANGITOPUNI HIGHWAY DISTRICT.

Amended Boundaries.

Bounded towards the North by part of the Southern boundary of the parish of Pukeatua from the South-Western angle of allotment No. 22 of the last named parish to the North-Western boundary of the land known as Mary Fair’s claim; towards the East by the Western and Southern boundaries of Mary Fair’s claim aforesaid to its South-Eastern angle; thence by a right line to the North-Western angle of allotment No. 35 of the parish of Paremoremo, and continuing along the Western and Southern boundaries of said lot No. 35 to Lucas’ Creek, and thence by Lucas’ Creek aforesaid to the Waitemata River; towards the South by the Waitemata River aforesaid and the Rangitopuni River from Lucas’ Creek before mentioned to the Waitati Stream, and by the said Stream to the Easternmost angle of allotment No. 55 of the parish of Paremoremo aforesaid; thence in a straight line to the North-Eastern angle of allotment No. 53 of the parish of Paremoremo aforesaid; thence following the North-Eastern boundary of said allotment No. 53, to the Ararimu River; thence Northward by the Ararimu River aforesaid to the South-Western boundary of allotment No. 41 of the parish of Paremoremo aforesaid; thence by the South-Western boundary of said allotment No. 41 to its Westernmost angle; thence in a straight line from said angle to the South-Western angle of allotment No. 60 of the parish of Ararimu; thence by the Western boundary of said allotment No. 60 to the Southern boundary of allotment No. 59 of the parish last named, and towards the West by the Southern boundary of allotment No. 59 aforesaid to the road which forms the South-Western boundary of allotment No. 55 also of the said parish; thence by the centre of said road to the North-Western boundary of said allotment No. 55; thence by the North-Western boundaries of allotments Nos. 55 and 54 of the parish of Ararimu aforesaid to the Northernmost angle of the last named lot and by a right line; thence Northerly to the South-Western angle of allotment No. 22 of the parish of Pukeatua the place of commencement.

I HEREBY notify that, in pursuance of the seventh section of “The Highways Act, 1871, Amendment Act, 1871,” I have appointed

to be an Auditor for the WAITAKEREI EAST Highway District, in the place of Edward Wayte.

I HEREBY notify that the respective Chairmen of the after-named District Boards, under “The Highways Act, 1871,” have reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the under-mentioned persons elected as Members of the said District Boards respectively, for the ensuing Highway year; namely:--

KAIRO: — William Bramley, Chairman; Richard Edward Gibbs, Isaac Shepherd, John G. Shepherd, and John Wigmore.

POVERTY BAY: — J. B. Poynter, Chairman; William King, S. Parsons, J. W. Johnson, and M. Hall.
