PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 7th July, 1873.

In pursuance of the 20th section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1870," it is hereby notified for general information that application has been made to me by

Mr. Edward Constable,

for permission to use, for mill-driving purposes, the water flowing through allotments Numbers 11 and 12 of the Parish of Waiuku East, together with the right to construct a Dam thereupon.

PROCLAMATION.

By Joseph May, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

By virtue of the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent under the 11th section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867," I do hereby temporarily reserve for Educational purposes, until the next Session of the Auckland Provincial Council,
all that piece or parcel of land in the Parish of Arai, County of Marsden, containing Thirty-nine acres, and being Southern portion of allotment number twenty-six and South-Western middle portion of allotment number twenty-nine; Bounded towards the North-East by other portion of allotment number twenty-nine, 690 links; towards the South-East by other portion of allotment number twenty-eight, 2,700 links; towards the South-West by a road one hundred links wide, 494 links and 1,150 links, and by allotment number twenty-five, 1,670 links; and towards the North-West by allotment number twenty-six, and other portion of allotment number twenty-nine aforesaid, 4,175 links.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, at Auckland, this twenty-fifth day of July, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

HAURAKI GOLD MINING DISTRICT.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

It is hereby notified that the undermentioned lands are open to occupation, under the provisions of "The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871."
