THE names of the under-mentioned persons appointed Collectors of Rates for the Highway Districts set opposite their respective names have been reported to this Office:—

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 17th July, 1873.
IT IS HEREBY notified that the Board of Education, under “The Education Act, 1872,” have constituted the District hereinafter described, to be an Educational District under the said Act, and have appointed the time and place of meeting for the Election of a District School Committee for the said Educational District.

SCHEDULE.
THE DRIVING CREEK EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Commencing at the junction of the Taumatawahine Creek and the Kapanga Creek, thence to the source of the Taumatawahine Creek, thence by a line North-East to a point half a mile distant from the main range, thence by a line parallel to the main range, thence by a line South-West to the head of Paul’s Creek, thence by Paul’s Creek to the sea, thence by the sea coast to a point thereon West from the point of commencement, thence by a line East to the point of commencement.
Meeting to elect School Committee, on Saturday, 2nd August, at the School House, Driving Creek, at 4 p.m.

IN accordance with the 14th section of “The Education Act, 1872,” it is hereby notified that the boundaries of the Coromandel Educational District, as described in Gazette No. 6, February 8th, 1873, have been amended by the Board of Education as follows:—

THE COROMANDEL EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Amended Boundaries.
Commencing at the mouth of the Waiau River, thence to its source, thence by a line North-East to a point half a mile distant from the main range, thence by a line parallel to the main range, thence by a line South-West to the source of the Taumatawahine Creek and the Kapanga Creek, thence by a line West to a point on the sea coast, thence by the sea coast to the point of commencement.
NOTICE TO MARINERS.
MOORING BUOY, MOUTH OF TURANGANUI RIVER, POVERTY BAY.
Buoy is laid down about 250 yards outside the bar. From the buoy, line of mid-channel bears N.E. by N.¼ with keeping the beacons open, one on port bank, the other on starboard bank. Depth of water at buoy 2½ fathoms low water. Anchors are 15 fathoms on either side, one due West, the other S. E. ¼ E.

I LAUGHLIN O’BRIEN, Registrar of The Supreme Court for the District of Auckland, do hereby notify that an Affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by John Peter Du Moulin and William Baker, two of the Shareholders of “The Green Harp Gold Mining Company, Registered,” has been lodged in the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Auckland, and forwarded to me, and that unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said Company to be dissolved in manner provided by “The Limited Liability Joint Stock Companies’ Dissolution Act, 1872.”

We, John Peter Du Moulin of Auckland, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, Share-broker, and William Baker of Auckland, aforesaid, Accountant, two of the Shareholders of “The Green Harp Gold Mining Company, Registered,” incorporated under “The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865,” do hereby make oath and say

That the nominal capital of the Company is ten thousand pounds, in five thousand shares of two pounds each.

That the shares have been fully paid up.

That the Company has no assets, and has ceased to carry on its operations, and we, the said John Peter Du Moulin and William Baker, do hereby apply for declaration of dissolution of such Company.
