IT IS HEREBY notified that Wednesday, the 29th day of January instant, will be observed as a Public Holiday in celebration of the Thirty-third Anniversary of the Colony.

HEREBY notify that the Chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board has reported to me the appointment of Thomas Williams, Esq., as a Member of the said Board, in the place of D. Tonks, Esq., resigned.

DO hereby notify that the Russell District Board has, with my approval, appointed Mr. John Moorinson, to be Keeper of the Public Pound at Russell, in the room of Mr. Isaac Brown, resigned.
