Meeting for Election of School Committee at Upper Matakana School House, Wednesday, 9th July, at 2 p.m.
Meeting to be held at the School House, Manaia, on Saturday, 12th July, 1873, at 3 o’clock, p.m.
THE MAUNGAKARAMA EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by part of the Northern boundary of Maungakaramea Block from the North-Western angle of lot 113 of the Parish of Maungakaramea; towards the East by the Western boundary of the Mangapai Educational District; towards the South by part of the Southern boundary of said Maungakaramea Block from the South-Eastern angle of lot 74 of said Maungakaramea Parish to the South-Western angle of lot 92 of said Parish; and towards the West by the Western boundary of said Maungakaramea Block.
Meeting for Election of School Committee on Saturday, 26th July, at 4 p.m., at the Church, Maungakaramea.
THE MAHURANGI HEADS EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the North by the sea from the South-Eastern angle of lot No. 19 Parish of Mahurangi to Mullet Point; towards the East by the sea from Mullet Point aforesaid to the North Head of Mahurangi Harbour, thence by a line from the North Head of Mahurangi Harbour aforesaid to the mouth of Te Muri Creek; towards the South by Te Muri Creek aforesaid; towards the West by a line from the source of Te Muri Creek aforesaid to the road forming the Western boundary of lot No. 148 of the Parish of Mahurangi aforesaid, and by the road which forms the Western boundaries of lots Nos. 148, 146, 143, 144 and 155 of the Parish of Mahurangi aforesaid, and by the road which forms the Western and Northern boundaries of lot No. 161 of Mahurangi Parish aforesaid, and by said road continued to a point called Bradley’s Head thence by a line from point last named to the South-Western angle of lot No. 19 aforesaid, thence by the South-Eastern boundary of last named lot to the place of commencement.

THE MANGAI EDUCATIONAL DISTRICT.
Including the Ruarangi, Mangapai, Mahe, Ruakaka and Kopuawaiwaha Blocks together with all that portion of the Maungakaramea block bounded towards the North by part of the Southern boundary of the Maungatapere block; towards the East by the Whangarei Harbour and Mangapai River; towards the South by part of the Southern boundary of the Maungakaramea block from the Mangapai River to the road forming the Western boundary of lot 75 of the Parish of Maungakaramea, and towards the West by the Western boundaries of lots 75 and 80 of said Parish, and by a line running North from last named lot to the Maungatapere block.

In accordance with the 14th section of "The Education Act, 1872," it is hereby notified that the boundaries of the Whangarei District, as described in the Gazette of April 2nd, No. 16, have been amended by the Board of Education as follows:—

Comprising all those lands within the boundaries of the Whangarei and Whareora Highway Districts.
