HAURAKI GOLD MINING DISTRICT.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 29th May, 1873.

IT is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Lease hereinafter named, and the Lessee’s estate therein determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under sections 53, 54, and 55 of “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871:”

  • 9 acres 3 roods and 17 perches; formerly held by John Earl and John Binney, under assignment from the Commercial Gold Mining Company, Registered.
  • 4 acres 2 roods and 23 perches; formerly held by the Golden Phoenix Gold Mining Company, Registered.
  • 9 acres 3 roods and 21 perches; formerly held by the Highland Chief Gold Mining Company, Registered.
  • 14 acres 1 rood and 27 perches; formerly held by the Golden King Gold Mining Company, Registered.
  • 8 acres 3 roods and 39 perches; formerly held by George Bennett.
  • Portion of 11 acres and 5 perches; formerly held by the Queensferry Gold Mining Company, Registered.

for the renewal of the Private Slaughter-house License, granted to the premises known as Peachy’s farm at Ellerslie.
