NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given, that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Ohinemutu, Rotorua, on the 14th of March next, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Name of Claimant Name and Locality of Block. Boundaries of the lands as translated from the claims. Place where plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Hona Te Hauiti, Raimona Petera, Tawhitinui, near the Tarawera River Commencing at Tawhitinui it goes to Waituhi, Kauaehapa, the Government boundary, Otitapu, the ridge of Te Papa, the source of Waikakarapiti, Apurangai, Te Ti, Watawata, Otuhangu, it goes in the Otuhangu stream to Tarawera, it follows the course of that river, and joins at Tawhitinui, and there ends.
Rokoroko, Hapi Te Kani, Paora Te Amorangi, Hataraka, Watene, Hunia and others. Resident Magistrate, Maketu.
Eruini Ngakai, Hotereni Wharehotara, Pukeroa, near the Tarawera River Begins at Otikrei, and goes to Wharehinaki, it turns to the South to Raoraohuata it turns to the East to Tawhitinui, and joins at Otokiri.
Petuha Haupapa, and Matene Whakaawe
Aterea, Irihei, Hohepa, Petera, Toma, Waipa, near Rotorua Bounded by Tuturu, Te Maire, Pungawere, Whakairorahi, Te Taheke, Te Makaka, Otamatea, and Kanaka, it follows the course of the Kanaka stream to Te Ruakio-koko, goes to Kohaturoa and meets at Tuturu.
Henare, Pauro, Wiripo, Hupini, Niheta and others
Arama Karaka Mokonuiarangi, Heta, Hewaka, Reha Paerau, Huta Tangihia and others Motumako, near the Rangitaiki River Commencing at Nga-motu-Kaitawa it goes to Rae-Pohatu, to Te Taupaki, to Wai-i-rohia, Te Papa, Pekepeke, Te Arawhata, it then goes in the Rangitaiki river to Ngapuketurua, it turns to the East to Te Upoko-o-po, Te Ipua-rerewa, Mangaharakeke, and joins at Nga-motu-Kaitawa.
Huta Tangihia, Poia Te Biripu, Perepe Taka, Akuhata Te Whanoke, Hataraka Te Amo-hau, Petera Paerau, Otimi Mihaka, Perenara Periwai, and Kingi Te Warihi Haengaenga, near the Tarawera River Commences at Te Ruapiha and goes to Horawaiwai, it turns to the West to Te Ara, to Whakapue and Opari, it turns to the North to Toreoro-o-rua, to Ranganui, to Tangiharuru, to Te Wai-pu-namunamu, to Ohuratoke, to Maungawhakakia, to Omarama, to Otuhanga, to Te Takanga and Te Wahinahina, it turns to the West to Mangawhio to Maraetahia, to Oteao, and to Ruawahia, it turns to the North along the Tarawera lake and joins at Te Ruapiha.
Hohepa Hawiti, Perema, and Toko Te Whaiti, near the Tarawera River Bounded on the East by Te Kohanga-o-te-kaweka and Tamahina, on the South by Otaire, Te Rautawiri.
