NATIVE LANDS COURT.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Waitangi, Bay of Islands, on the 21st of January next, and following days.

Eruera Nehua, Riwi Taikawa, Whatarau Ruku Puhipuhi, near Te Kawakawa Bounded on the east by the Whakapara river, by Government land, and by Otonga and Opuwhango; on the north by Taumata Hinai; on the west by the Waiofu river, by Government land, and by Te Ruapakapeka; and on the south by the mouths of the Whakapara and the Waiofu rivers, by Government land, and by Hikurangi
Honetana Te Kero Oropa, near Te Kawakawa Bounded on the east by Te Hikuwai, land belonging to Wiremu Katene, and on the other sides by land belonging to Honetana being another portion of the same piece of land called Oropa
Wi Pau, Hana Te Haro, and Haramana Waiwarawara, near Whangarei The boundaries are shown on the map forwarded to the office in Auckland Commences at Te Hautapu and crosses the Orongo river, and goes on to Rauparaoa, Kirikiri, Taiharuru, Taiwharuwharu, then goes up to Whakaroa, Te Aruihe, Patupu, Huruera, Te Ngangairoa, Mataiwhatui, Karakakapi, Pukemauku, Raparapahoe, and Te Hautapu, where it ends
Wiremu Hunia Te Kepotai, Wi Te Teete, and others Orongo, near Waikare Bay of Islands Commences at Koroama and goes on to Rahuiroa, Te Manu, Puke Kanikani, Tangihua, Te Harakeke, and meets again at Koroama
Pita Tunua, and Ngawati Te Rau Rahuiroa, near Whananaki Commences at the Tamariki river, and goes on to Te Huruhi, Whangaore, Te Hue, and Orokawa
Tawera Riwhipou Wharerahi Orokawa, near Te Rawhiti Commences at Koroama
Maihi Paraone Kawiti Otuihu, near Te Kawakawa Bounded on the west by the Kawakawa river; on the north by lines 96 links, 100 links, 25 links, 50 links, 90 links, and 85 links; on the east by a line 185 links, and on the south by a line 200 links, and so meets at the starting point
Paoro Whataparaoa and Pirini Okuratopu, near Te Waimate Bounded on the west by Waikuku; on the south by Mr. Clarke’s land; and on the north and east by survey lines
Hori Wehiwehi Paparahi, near Whangaruru, Bay of Islands Commences at Taiwawe and goes on to Te Whau Paparahi, Raersea, Oparo, Huikau, and on to the starting point
