PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the 7th day of June, 1872, His Excellency the Governor did, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Colony, delegate, in respect of the Public Domains therein referred to, all the powers conferred by “The Public Domains Act, 1860,” and “The Public Domains Act Amendment Act, 1865,” except as therein mentioned, to

The Superintendent of Auckland, Chairman.
Francis Dart Fenton, Esquire;
Theophilus Heale, Esquire;
George Manners Mitford, Esquire;
George Burgoyne Owen, Esquire;
The Mayor of the City of Auckland;
The Chairman of the Highway Road Board, Parnell;
The Chairman of the Highway Road Board, Newton;
The Chairman of the Highway Road Board, Dedwood;
The Chairman of the Highway Road Board, Grafton Road;
The Chairman of the Highway Road Board, Karangahape Road;

subject to the stipulations therein after contained, one of which is that the Board shall meet at such times and places as shall be from time to time appointed by the Chairman, or shall be convened by him.

Now, therefore, I, Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire, Superintendent of Auckland, do hereby appoint that the said Board shall meet at the Office of the Superintendent, on the 19th September next, at 11 o’clock, and at the same place and hour on the First Monday in every subsequent month, subject to such adjournments as shall from time to time be made by the Board.

HAURAKI GOLD MINING DISTRICT.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IT is hereby notified that re-entry has been made by the Lessor upon the ground demised by the Leases hereunder named, and the Lessees’ estate therein respectively determined, and that the land therein mentioned will be open for occupation under sections 53, 54, and 55 of “The Gold Mining Districts Act, 1871.”
