PROCLAMATION.
By Joseph May, Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers vested in the Superintendent by an Act of the Local Legislature of the Province of Auckland, intituled
"An Act to Abate the Nuisance caused by Dogs,"
(Session 1, No. 4, 1854), I do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the publication hereof, the said Act shall come into operation within the District of Tauranga North Township, as constituted under "The Highways Act, 1871."
Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the Province, at Auckland, this seventh day of August, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Auckland, 5th August, 1872.
IT is hereby notified that the Chairman of the First Meeting of the Ratepayers of the Tauranga Highway District has reported in writing to the Superintendent the names of the under-mentioned persons duly elected as Members of the District Board:—
- Robert Graham, J. P., Chairman.
- William Fraser, R.M.
- John Brown.
- J. B. Steadman.
- Thomas Wells.

I HEREBY notify for public information that the sale of all that piece or parcel of land, being allotment No. 110 of section No. 6, of the suburbs of Auckland, Parish of Waitemata, County of Eden, advertised for sale by notification in the Provincial Government Gazette, No 28, dated 25th July, 1872, has been postponed.
