I, THE undersigned, JOHN MOWBRAY, of Auckland, Mining Agent, hereby make application to register "THE LAST RESORT GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED," under "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts, 1869 and 1870," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, viz.:

  1. The name and style of the Company is The Last Resort Gold Mining Company, Registered.
  2. The place of operations is at Kapanga, at the Coromandel Goldfields, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Ten thousand pounds, in Ten thousand shares of One Pound each.
  4. The amount already paid-up is, in cash, Nil, and Four thousand seven hundred and eighty pounds in partly paid-up shares allotted to the Company, and Two hundred and twenty fully paid-up shares allotted to Arakuri Kapanga.
  5. The name of the Manager is John Mowbray.
  6. The Office of the Company is at Number forty-four, Queen-street, Auckland.
  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each, at this date, are as follows, namely:
