PROCLAMATION.

BY THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority in me vested by the provisions of “The Marine Act, 1867,” I, Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, do hereby define the limits and boundaries, for the purposes of the said recited Act, of the under-mentioned Wharf, that is to say,

GRAHAMSTOWN GOODS WHARF.

Bounded on the North-East by a Public Road, and the South-East, South-West, and North-West by the Sea.

Given at Auckland, under my hand and the public seal of the said Province, this sixteenth day of May, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

BY THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and authority vested in me by the provisions of “The Marine Act, 1867,” I do hereby impose and levy the following rates, dues and charges for the use of the GRAHAMSTOWN GOODS WHARF, and for the landing of goods, wares, merchandise, and cattle thereat and thereon, that is to say :-

For every ton, or part of a ton (weight or measurement) of goods, wares, or merchandise, landed or shipped thereat or therefrom ... 0 9

Every waggon (not being an express waggon), drawn by one horse ... 0 6

Ditto for every additional horse ... 0 3

Every other vehicle drawn by one horse ... 0 3

Ditto for every additional horse ... 0 3

Every barrow or truck ... 0 1

Every vehicle with four wheels, without horses ... 0 6

Every vehicle with two wheels, without horses ... 0 3

Every horse not drawing any vehicle ... 0 6

Every head of great cattle ... 0 6

Every pig, sheep, or goat ... 0 1

For every person landing from or going on to the wharf (crews of vessels alongside, licensed watermen, officers of Government, and other persons employed on the wharf excepted) ... 0 3

For every vessel hauling alongside the said wharf, £1 per quarter for vessels of 20 tons and under, and 6d. per ton per quarter additional, for all vessels over 20 tons and under 100 tons, such payments to be made in advance, commencing the quarters on the 1st January, 1st April, 1st July, and 1st October.

For every vessel not paying quarterly, the Master shall pay for every day or part of a day the vessel is alongside the wharf, 2s. 6d. for the
