AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

I hereby certify that I have examined the Accounts of the Provincial Treasurer of the Province of Auckland for the quarter ended 31st March, 1872, and compared them with the vouchers, and find the computations correct; that the Revenues and Receipts brought on charge and required by law to be paid into the Provincial account, were so paid: that all issues of public monies have been made on Warrants of the Superintendent duly certified by me; that all monies issued in payment of services rendered were legally available according to the terms of "The Provincial Audit Act, 1866"; that the Expenditure shown in the said accounts has been properly classified, and that no part thereof has been expended without the authority of law.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Crown Grant to the undermentioned persons for the undermentioned Block of Land in the Province of Auckland has been forwarded by the Secretary for Crown Lands to the Registrar of Deeds here for delivery to the Grantees.

I, THE undersigned, DAVID MITCHELL ROSS, hereby make application to register "THE FIRST OF MAY GOLD MINING COMPANY, REGISTERED," under the provisions of "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act 1865," and "The Mining Companies' Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts 1869 and 1870," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, viz. :

  1. The name and style of the Company is The First of May Gold Mining Company, Registered.

  2. The place of operations is at the Kapanga, Coromandel Goldfields, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Five thousand pounds in Five thousand shares of One pound each.

  4. The amount already paid up in cash is Nil, and Two thousand five hundred pounds in partly paid up shares.

  5. The name of the Manager is David Mitchell Ross.

  6. The Office of the Company is at Kapanga, Coromandel.

  7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows, namelyβ€”
