PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

Superintendent’s Office,
Auckland, 23rd March, 1872.

It is hereby notified that the Offices of the Provincial Government will be closed during the period commencing on Friday, the 29th instant, and ending on Tuesday following, the 2nd proximo, both days inclusive, for the Easter Holidays.

SCHEDULE.

All that piece or parcel of land in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement one acre more or less situated in the Parish of Matakohe in the County of Marsden, and being allotment No. 56 of the suburbs of Matakohe. Bounded towards the North-east by allotment No. 37 three hundred and forty-one links; towards the South-east by allotment No. 37 aforesaid four hundred links; towards the South-west by a road one hundred and fifty-nine links and towards the North-west by a road four hundred and thirty-nine links.

PROCLAMATION.

By Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.

By virtue of the powers and authority vested in the Superintendent under the 11th section of "The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867," I do hereby temporarily reserve for Educational purposes until the next Session of the Auckland Provincial Council, all that piece or parcel of land situate at Matakohe, and described in the Schedule hereunder.

Given under my hand and the Public Seal of the said Province, this twentieth day of March, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

Thomas Bannatyne Gillies, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland, by virtue of the powers in me vested by "The Protection of Animals Act, 1867," and the delegation of powers to me thereunder by His Excellency the Governor, do hereby proclaim and declare that Game shall be open to be hunted, shot, taken, or killed, within the Province of Auckland during the months of May, June, and July.
