I, THE undersigned, RODERICK McDONALD SCOTT, hereby make application to Register The (Moanataiari) Union Gold Mining Company, Registered, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act, 1865," and "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Act Amendment Acts, 1869 and 1870," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—

1. The name and style of the Company is The (Moanataiari) Union Gold Mining Company, Registered.

2. The place of operations is at the Moanataiari Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province of Auckland in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. The nominal capital of the Company is Three thousand three hundred and sixty Pounds in Three thousand three hundred and sixty shares of one Pound each.

4. The amount already paid up in cash is "Nil," and in partly paid-up shares is One thousand six hundred and eighty Pounds, being the estimated value of the Company’s Mine.

5. The name of the Manager is R. McDONALD SCOTT.

6. The office of the Company is at Owen-street, Grahamstown.

7. The names and several residences of the shareholders, and the number of shares held by each at this date, are as follows, namely:—

SALMON, hereby make application to register The City of Dunedin Gold Mining Company, Registered, under the provisions of "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Acts, 1865," and "The Mining Companies’ Limited Liability Amendment Acts, 1869 and 1870," and I do solemnly and sincerely declare that the following statement is, to the best of my belief and knowledge, true in every particular, namely—

1. The name and style of the Company is The City of Dunedin Gold Mining Company, Registered.

2. The place of operations is at the Tararu Creek, at the Thames Goldfield, in the Province, in the Colony of New Zealand.

3. The nominal capital of the Company is Twelve thousand Pounds in 1,500 shares of £8 each.

4. The amount paid up in cash is nil, and in partly paid up shares Eleven thousand two hundred and fifty Pounds, being the estimated value of the mine.

5. The name of the Manager is JOHN H. SALMON.

6. The offices of the Company is in Brown-street, Grahamstown.
