PROCLAMATION.
By THOMAS BANNATYNE GILLIES, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Auckland.
BY virtue of the powers and authority vested in me under the eleventh section of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” I do hereby temporarily reserve for the public purpose of a School Site, until next session of the Provincial Council, all those pieces or parcels of land in the Province of Auckland, being allotments Nos. 1 and 2 of the Town of Buffalo, Parish of Kapanga, Queen’s County.
Given at Auckland under my hand and the public seal of the Province this twenty-fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

I DO hereby notify, by virtue of “The Auckland Waste Lands Act, 1867,” that the general Country Land hereinafter mentioned will be open for selection and sale at the Waste Lands Office at Auckland, on and after Friday, the 31st day of March, 1871.

Applications for any of the lands set forth above to be made in writing, and deposited in the Waste Lands Office, Auckland, before the 31st day of March, 1871.
HAURAKI GOLDFIELD.
PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
IN pursuance of the 29th Section of “The Goldfields Act, 1866,” and of the Regulations made under that Act for the granting of Leases for Gold Mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant Leases for Gold Mining purposes to the Applicants specified in the Schedule hereunder, unless valid objections can be shown against granting such Leases.
Copies of the Applications made, and Plans annexed, may be seen at the Warden’s Office, Grahamstown.
